#AdjunctChat is a weekly gathering of adjunct, contingent, part-time, visiting, and non-tenure track instructors, along with their supporters and allies, in higher education.
We host a live (synchronous) online chat on Twitter every Tuesday from 4:00-5:00pm EST. However, the hashtag is always available for discussion. To participate, just add the #AdjunctChat hashtag to your Tweets!
More information about #AdjunctChat may be found via its Twitter account @AdjunctChat or the AdjunctChat Facebook group or the AdjunctChat website.
Guest facilitators are always welcome to lead chats on issues of interest for adjuncts, contingent, part-time, visiting, and non-tenure track instructors, along with their supporters and allies. For more information about this, see the information in Want to Facilitate an #AdjunctChat? or contact @AdjunctChat or @JeffreyKeefer.
Some people find it useful to use Twubs or tchat.io to follow this discussion when it occurs, or programs such as HootSuite can be useful.
A discussion about the initiation of #AdjunctChat was written about in Issue 5 of the The Grad Caucus Chronicle.
