Our facilitator will be @polypel88. Moorea Coker currently works full-time as a high school English teacher in Crosby Texas. She adjuncts at Lee College in Baytown Texas. Her research interests include film theory, political theory and ideological representation in media.

Today, we will be discussing the adjunct who works full time. There are many questions to answer but the four below will be the focus:

Q1: Which industry’s employees would be most beneficial as adjunct instructors?

Q2: Does the “industry person” empower or oppress the voice of the adjuncts?

Q3: Can the adjunct experience change the industry where a full time employee works?

Q4: What might be the motivation to adjunct with a full time job in another industry?
